Full-Time Nanny

A caring family located in Sacramento is seeking a dedicated and doting care provider for their infant daughter (Born Sept 22nd 2024). The family is seeking someone who walks into their home with a great attitude and a loving, happy disposition. The ideal candidate is someone high-energy, active, and able to adjust their methods of care in ways that stimulate positive development as the child grows. In addition to childcare, the role will require light household duties and occasional errands. This client plans to grow and is looking for someone who will grow and adapt with their family for a long-term commitment. Schedule: M-Th, 7:30-4 p.m. & Fri 8-12 p.m. Schedule may vary, but guarantee 30 hours a week Plan on mom working from the home M/W/F, out of home T/Th Family has 3 weeks of vacation now through year end which nanny would not be working Beginning Mid-March (trial), early April (full-time) Pay: $22-$25/hr Key Attributes: Calm and gentle - does not overstimulate Joyful and positive energy Loves being a nanny - doesn't view this as a job, but an opportunity to help mold a child in a positive way Knowledgeable on early childhood development Reliable and Punctual Multi-tasks with ease Flexible - must be somewhat flexible with hours Proactive - anticipate the needs of the family before being asked Active - we desire walks outside and play time with child daily Other responsibilities: Light tidying of main areas, and play areas child will occupy Preparing and cleaning bottles Preparing homemade baby food Light laundry for family Light/simple meal preparation for family Play centered around sensory play and development of gross motor skills (i. e tummy time Healthy and active - must take little one out on walks, outside/backyard play and parks as he grows Restocking/organizing diaper stations and nursery Must Haves: CPR & First Aid training, current Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI Non-Smoker 3+ years of nanny experience / 3+ years of Newborn/Infant Be able to provide supervisory references
