Are you passionate about making a positive and lasting difference in the life of a child with special needs? A private family based on the south side of Redding, California is currently hiring for a part time personal assistant, to a 6-year-old child with non-verbal autism. This is NOT a babysitting or respite position, but an instructional and supportive one. -Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 18 or older. Reliable transportation. Can pass a background check. -Examples of Job Duties Ensuring client safety both at home and in the community. Assisting client with gaining physical skills such as riding a bicycle with training wheels and dancing/large scale movement. Potty training. Assisting client with fine motor skills. Encouraging client to try new foods through exposure and play.
