Job Number: 10528 Location: Portola Valley, California. Family will move to Woodside, California later this year. Schedule: 3-4 days per week, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. = 42-56 hours per week- workdays could include weekdays and weekends. Family can be flexible with schedule for the right Candidate. Children: 1, 5, and 7-year-olds. Duties: Childcare, driving children, attending children's classes, helping with homework, cooking for children, light pet care, traveling with family six to eight times per year. Requirements: Ideal Candidate is kind and loves children, is consistent and able to set boundaries effectively, and has demonstrated expertise in childhood development. Candidate should be able to support children's academic development while nurturing their social and emotional development and will engage children in educationally and developmentally appropriate play and activities. Candidate who knows how to swim, has a degree in an education related field or has teaching experience, and speaks Mandarin is a plus, but not required. Family values integrity, strong work ethic, great communication skills, organization, energy, and proactivity in a Candidate. Must be comfortable with parents working from home, as well as comfortable working in a multistaffed household, including teaming with other Nannies. Candidate must be tech savvy, able to use Google calendar, and must drive. Family can provide a vehicle for use on the job. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain updated vaccinations, including COVID, flu, Tdap, and MMR. Salary: $45-$50 per hour Benefits: Guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k. Pet Details: Very sweet Labradoodle.
