About the job
Looking for a loving, patient, & proactive nanny to care for our sweet & fun daughter who has Down syndrome. She is nonverbal & uses some sign language, so we need someone to support her communication. Experience preferred w/ ASL, AAC device, & ABA therapy or be willing to learn. One of the main priorities will be assisting with feeding, as she struggles with eating, & ensuring she stays engaged in structured activities with minimal screen time. The role includes helping with her evening routine, changing diapers, putting away & sanitizing toys, & providing a safe, nurturing, & stimulating environment. Light housekeeping such as tidying, cleaning up after meals, washing & putting away her clothes, & organizing play spaces is expected. We need someone great with children & ready to support Mom if thats you, we'd love to hear from you!
