Busy Palisades Family of 5 is Seeking a Fun, Engaging, and Reliable Nanny OR Manny to Join Their Team! Their beloved nanny of 8 years is moving into an exciting new chapter-expanding her own family! While they couldn't be happier for her, they're now looking for a warm, dependable, and proactive nanny to support their three amazing kids, ages 11, 15, and 17. Think of yourself as more of a "big brother or sister, "life coach" and mentor versus traditional nanny. Their eldest is on the spectrum-high-functioning, independent, and thrives on routine. He doesn't always have a filter, so they're looking for someone who takes things in stride and just "gets it." He's passionate about math, music, and hiking-if you share these interests, you'll be a great match! Their middle child is self-sufficient, kind, and just needs a little homework help and a ride to activities. The youngest? A burst of energy, humor, and personality who will keep you laughing every single day. Mom is super organized and structured, so they're not looking for someone to create systems-just a nanny who can seamlessly follow their flow and keep things running smoothly. Afternoons are a team effort-you'll tag-team school pickups with Mom (3 different schools!), help with homework, spend time outdoors, prep meals for the kids, and assist with bedtime. While they have a full-time housekeeper, you'll help with kid-related tidying, dishes, and occasional laundry. Love to travel? They'd love to take you along! From quick Santa Barbara getaways to extended trips (Europe, NY, Hawaii, etc.), their nanny is part of the adventure. LOCATION: Pacific Palisades, CA SCHEDULE: School Year: Mon-Fri 2pm-9pm + occasional late nights (10:30 pm with notice). Must be available for earlier starts on sick days/no-school days and occasional weekend support. Summer: Guaranteed 40 hours/week-exact hours will vary based on camps & activities. Summer means more hours and more fun, so flexibility is key! COMPENSATION: $40-50/hr gross on payroll (top rates reserved for candidates with 5+ years of full-time nanny experience and strong autism/learning differences expertise). QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of full-time nanny experience Experience with teens Experience w/Autism + Behavioral Challenges a PLUS, but not required Dog-friendly (they have three! Two doodle mixes + one chihuahua mix) Travel-ready (trips range from a few days to a few weeks, longer trips planned 6+ months in advance) Strong Driving Record (nanny car provided while working) Covid vaccine (initial series + 1 booster) required, the family is very pro-vaccine, so if you are not, it probably won't be the right match This family is fun-loving, easygoing, and full of joy.
