About the job
Hello there! I'm looking for someone to watch my child while she's in an aftercare program at her elementary school. There is staff there, but my daughter has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair and needs a one-to-one aid to help with a few things here and there. The job should feel somewhat easier than regular care for a single child given all the school support. The main purpose of having an aid is to make sure that someone can help her with eating snacks, getting in and out of her wheelchair to play, and using the restroom. She has limited communication ability, but does have a twin sister that will be in the program with her that you can always ask for support from if you don't understand a request that she is making. Let's chat and I'll go into more detail! The salary for this position is being paid for by RCEB so it's a W-2 job.
