Busy Working Moms Are In Need of A Reliable Part-Time Nanny for Their 2-Year-Old Little Girl! These moms own and run their own emergency veterinary clinic, and have very busy schedules. Needless to say, this is a house full of animal lovers- they have dogs, cats, chickens and the regularly foster animals (from kittens to goats)! They need their nanny to also have a compassionate heart and be a true animal lover! They hope to grow their family in the next year or so! Their little girl is very independent and LOVES to play and is always on the go (she is a thrill seeker and very active)- she loves to be involved with everything (cooking, tidying up!). She needs a nanny who is very engaged/involved and can keep a close eye on her.
LOCATION: Thousand Oaks, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)
SCHEDULE: 3-4 Consecutive Days/Week (they're open to ANY days, as long as they're consecutive), starting between 9AM/10 a.m. and ending around 5PM/6 p.m.
COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr Gross
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must LOVE All Animals!
Up to Date on Vaccinations (including COVID)
LGBTQ+ Friendly (2 Mom Home)
Reliable + Trustworthy
Their ideal nanny is reliable, timely and respects professional boundaries! If you love reading aloud, being outdoors, making fun plans and planning activities for the day- this is the job for you! They would love for you to really take charge and create structure for the day (without needing to be micromanaged)! You will be responsible for all of the day to day responsibilities related to their daughter, including nap time, preparing her meals/snacks, helping with her laundry and helping to keep her room/play area/etc are tidy!
It's also important that you share their childrearing philosophies, this is not a "three more bites" household, their goal is to raise their daughter to be in tune with her body (listening to her hunger/fullness cues) and they also respect her bodily autonomy (asking before hugging, etc). They do not do time outs or yelling, instead their approach is gentle but consistent to implement safe boundaries for her. If you are familiar with child development and emotional development that is ideal! Emotional intelligence is key!
They are looking forward to interviewing and onboarding their new nanny ASAP! Apply today! This position is offered through Westside Nannies.
