A family in Menlo Park is seeking a full-time nanny for their baby boy born early February. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities geared towards their son's development, bottle/meal prep, assisting with developmental transitions (solids, nap schedules, etc.), baby laundry and light housekeeping duties (tidying the nursery and common/play areas, etc.). Their ideal candidate encourages and models good behavior, is upbeat, and proactively finds ways to enrich their son's life. Someone who is actively keeping up to date with the latest research and methods for childcare, and collaborate with the family and grow with the baby over time to customize his needs.
Additionally, prior experience with integrating dogs in the household with childcare (e. g., supervise a play session between the toddler and the dogs) is required.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
Must live within 45 mins or less of Menlo Park
COVID-vaccinated + current booster required
TB, Tdap and flu vaccines up to date
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record (family can usually provide shared vehicle for work-related driving) many activities are within walking distance
Comfortable with dogs + ability to walk/take care of dogs is preferred
Willingness / flexibility to occasionally travel in the future
Prior experience working with children aged 4-months +
Warm, loving, engaging

Responsibilities
Actively participate and seek out ways to nurture and promote the child's development
Plan age-appropriate activities and outings
Prepare, wash and sanitize bottles
Prepare child's meals and snacks once they transition to solids
Child laundry
Assist with developmental/travel transitions (nap schedule, solids, etc.)
Light tidying (nursery as well as common/play areas)
Occasional pet care for their two dogs (feed, walk, etc.)
