Family of 3 in Manhattan Beach is in need of a nanny for their almost 3-Year-Old Son. Their DREAM nanny has great experience working with the toddler age group and will be able to work with their son on hitting his developmental milestones and look for opportunities to teach him things throughout the day! If you have a background in early childhood development or experience working as a teacher in some capacity, this is the perfect job for you! Their son is very into STEM focused play (building things, puzzles, etc) and they want their nanny to encourage and foster his growth in that area! LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9am-2 p.m. (along with occasional evenings + opportunity for additional hours) COMPENSATION: $40/hr gross REQUIREMENTS: Up to date on vaccinations Montessori/Preschool/STEM background is ideal Available for 1-Year Contract Your duties will include: planning educational activities and adventures, planning fun arts and crafts activities, teaching him numbers, letters, etc and helping him learn through play. Additional duties include preparing his meals and snacks, keeping him on a schedule, helping with his laundry + dishes and ensuring his room and play areas stay tidy. The family is very focused on education and development, so you should be too! The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, engaging, imaginative, creative, thoughtful, fun, cheerful, and LOVES working with toddlers!
