Wonderful Manhattan Beach family seeks a kind, loving, and naturally helpful LIVE-IN Nanny/Mother's Helper to care for their two children, ages 3 and 7. These dual-working parents, who work from home, are excited to welcome an incredible caregiver into their family, ideally for years to come! You'll enjoy a private bedroom with an en suite bath and a private entry-just blocks from the beach! As this family's nanny/mother's helper, you will handle school pick-ups, occasional morning drop-offs, and drive the children to activities while coordinating playdates. Additional responsibilities include supporting homework and school projects, engaging in fun playtime, and maintaining a structured, routine-driven environment. The nanny will prepare healthy snacks and simple dinners for the kids, assist with evening and bedtime routines, and work extra hours during school breaks or if the children are home sick. Light housekeeping is expected, including managing kid laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, keeping kids' rooms and play areas tidy, simple meal prep, running errands as needed, and assisting with pain management for mom via laser treatments. LOCATION: Manhattan Beach, CA SCHEDULE: General schedule is Mon-Fri early afternoon to 8/8:30 p.m. PLUS 1 hour on Saturday/Sundays. Plan to work 30-40 hours/week, with varying hours from week to week, depending on the family's work/travel schedules. Flexibility is crucial!
