Rotational Nanny - Brentwood & Pacific Palisades Location: Brentwood, then relocating to Pacific Palisades Schedule: 4 days OR 7 days on/off, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Compensation: $40-$60/hour DOE + Benefits Lovely new parents in Brentwood are seeking a full-time rotational nanny to join their family and provide exceptional care for their baby. The family is looking for a highly experienced and educated nanny with a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or prior experience as a preschool or elementary teacher. They seek someone with a strong background in infant and toddler care and ideally experience with school-aged children. The ideal candidate is poised, knowledgeable, confident, and able to offer guidance while respecting the parents' role. They should be enthusiastic about a long-term commitment, engaging, fun, creative, and proactive in fostering the child's development. Given that the family travels several times per year for extended periods, the nanny must be flexible and comfortable with both domestic and international travel, holding a valid passport. The household is fully staffed, including a House Manager, Chef, and Housekeepers, so the nanny must be an excellent team player, friendly, and professional while also being pet-friendly, as the family has one dog. When not actively caring for the baby, the nanny should be resourceful and helpful wherever needed. Responsibilities: Provide full-time care and developmental support for the baby. Engage the child in age-appropriate educational and play-based activities. Coordinate and clear outdoor activities and baby classes with the parents. Maintain the baby's daily schedule, including feeding, naptime, and playtime. Travel with the family for extended periods as needed. Maintain open communication with parents and collaborate with household staff. Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with a large team.
