A wonderful family of 4 in Larchmont, CA (Hollywood adjacent) is seeking a bright, upbeat, and proactive Housekeeper/Family Assistant to support their household and care for their two children, ages 5 and 7. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, with solid housekeeping experience, is well-versed in cooking for families, enjoys working with school-aged children, and excels at multitasking. The primary responsibilities will include: Housekeeping duties, including: Cleaning and organizing the entire home, including bedrooms, play areas, bathrooms, and common spaces. Family laundry and linens. Meal preparation for the family (simple, healthy dinners 5x a week). The daughter has a nut allergy, so awareness and careful meal preparation are essential. Tidying up after meals and loading/unloading the dishwasher. Regular monitoring of household needs, updating shopping lists, and restocking supplies. Ordering groceries weekly Childcare duties, such as: School pick-up in Studio City using your own vehicle (a gas stipend will be provided). Transporting the children to after-school activities such as tennis and piano lessons. Assisting with evening routines, including helping the children shower and preparing them for bedtime. LOCATION: Larchmont, CA SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week START DATE: ASAP COMPENSATION: $35/hour gross QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to manage full housekeeping responsibilities. Experience working with school-aged children. Comfort and skill in preparing simple family dinners 5 days a week. Strong driving record and familiarity with LA traffic. Vaccinated (open to vaccines). The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can keep mom and dad informed and works well with dual-working parents. You should be mature, confident, and able to think logically while managing time effectively and taking initiative.
