First-time parents are on the lookout for a proactive, organized, and engaging full-time nanny to join their team and care for their adorable infant boy, starting January 2nd! Born in May, he'll be 8 months old at the start of employment-such an exciting, playful, and curious stage of development. Both parents work full-time (a hybrid schedule of at-home and office), so you should be comfortable with at least one of them around throughout the day. Don't worry-they'll be busy, leaving you plenty of space to shine! They're seeking a self-starter who will keep their little one's days filled with fun, engaging, and educational (age-appropriate) activities, encourage his sense of wonder and exploration, and support him in hitting developmental milestones-all while keeping his schedule on track (managing wake windows, feeding, naps, etc.). Fresh air and outdoor play are important to this family, so they're hoping you're excited to take him on stroller walks, trips to the park, and little adventures to soak up the sunshine and socialize with other kiddos. During nap times, they'd love for you to help with light household tasks, like prepping simple meals or snacks for family, washing/sanitizing bottles and toys, managing baby laundry (plus the parents' as needed), tidying up the nursery and play areas, and ensuring common spaces stay clean and organized. LOCATION: Hollywood, CA START DATE: Jan 2, 2025! SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8/9am - 5/6pm + occasional date nights RATE: $30-35/hr gross DOE QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of full-time experience working with ages 0-5 Organized, timely and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Strong understanding of developmental milestones Vaccinations: Annual flu shot + Tdap (Covid initial series preferred) Dog friendly-they have a lovable lab who is part of the family Bilingual speaking preferred: English as well as Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus!
