Return Clients In La Canada Need A FT Nanny For Their 2 Kids

AWESOME return clients are looking for a full-time nanny to help with their two adorable children (ages 3 + 5 years)! Their 3 year old girl is currently in preschool and their 5 year old boy is starting kindergarten this year! Both kids have some mild special needs, their son moderately autistic (he has made GREAT strides this year and is now talking in full sentences and excelling in academics!) and their daughter has just had tubes put in her ears to help with some mild hearing loss (they're exploring getting her hearing aids in the near future). Both kids are beyond sweet, loving and affectionate and are just really fun to be around! They love to play, sing and dance - their little girl is a total Swiftie and loves jamming to her songs in the car! Both parents (2 Moms) work full-time and one of the moms starts her work day very early, so they are in need of a split shift schedule to help with the morning and afternoon routine! Currently, the kids go to different schools that start at the same time, so you will start your shift by arriving at the home to help get the kids dressed and ready for the day (lunches packed, fed breakfast, etc) and then you will divide and conquer with one of the moms to tackle drop off (you will take one kid, and mom will take the other). You will have a break in the day from 8:30AM-11AM where you can do whatever you please, and then at 11AM you will resume your working hours and tackle grocery shopping, organizational projects and light tidying until it's time to do school pick up at 11:45! LOCATION: La Canada, CA (Greater Los Angeles) SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30AM + 11AM-5PM (40 hours/week with the opportunity for additional hours for date nights, etc!) COMPENSATION: $30-$35/hr + benefits package (healthcare stipend, PTO + opportunity for growth) REQUIREMENTS: FUN + Playful (willing to be silly with the kids, will sing along and have dance parties) LQBTQ+ friendly Special Needs Experience is Great, but not required! Vaccinated for Covid Strong Swimmer (they have a pool) Your duties will involve full childcare for both children including but not limited to preparing healthy meals (breakfast, snacks, dinner), assisting with the children's laundry and ensuring the general living areas stay neat + tidy! They hope to put the kids into some after school activities this year and would love any guidance or recommendations you might have! A big part of the job involves driving (handling school drop off and pick up and then eventually transporting them to whatever activities)- so please be a confident driver with a reliable vehicle!
