We live in Echo Park and have one 6-year-old kiddo who loves the neighborhood, is obsessed with science and nature, and goes to school right up the street from our house so has a good amount of play dates/ friends in the neighborhood. Our house is kid friendly and on a double lot, so there's room to explore, get messy etc. My partner and I just both got super busy at work at the same time, and it may stay that way for a while --- looking for an enthusiastic person to keep our kiddo engaged in the world, cared for when we aren't able to! Maybe even do trips to locals pools or creeks etc.
