Sitter Needed For Teenager With Special Needs In Lakewood

Seeking a part-time sitter for my son with special needs. He is 16 yrs old, non-verbal, with cognitive delays. I (dad) am his primary caregiver. I'm a business owner, so I am either working or taking care of my son most of the time, and I just need some personal time on occasion. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with special needs, preferably as a school aide or para-professional. My son is usually content to be alone in his room, but he occasionally enjoys being entertained by books, bubbles, balloons, and music videos. Seeking someone who can work 4-6 hours at a time, 2-3 afternoons/evenings per week and occasional weekend shifts.
