Babysitter Needed For My Children In Lakewood.

Seeking a caregiver for my son with special needs. He is 16 yrs old, non-verbal, with cognitive delays. He needs assistance with most tasks, including dressing, feeding, and toileting. I (dad) am his primary caregiver. I'm a small business owner, so I am either working or taking care of my son most of the time and need some personal time on occasion. The ideal caregiver will have prior experience caring for (or working with) children with special needs and will be strong enough to help my son move from room to room as needed when he'd rather sit on the floor. Seeking someone who can work 4-6 hours at a time, 2-3 evenings per week. Main duties would be feeding him once per shift, toileting him once or twice per shift, and occasionally entertaining him with books, bubbles, balloons, or music. He keeps to himself in his room a lot, at which time light housework or meal prep can be done.
