About the job
We are looking for an in-home homework helper / caretaker for our 2 children: a 5-year-old in kindergarten and a 7-year-old in 1st grade. Monday to Thursday, 3pm-4:30 p.m. Both kids are doing work on par with their grade. Homework is provided by the school and has good instructions. Daily homework tends be done in a 30-45 minute session. Our kindergartner is in a Japanese Dual Language (JDL) program and we are tutoring our 1st grader to test-into the a program for 2nd grade entrance. For this, we are arranging an online tutor that will start teaching our 1st grader during your time together (about 4pm). At least 1 parent will be home during this time for anything urgent. We would be working nearby in an adjacent room. No transportation of children required.
