About the job
We are looking for an in-home homework helper / caretaker for our 2 children: a 5-year-old in kindergarten and a 7-year-old in 1st grade. Monday to Thursday, 3pm-4:30 p.m. Both kids are doing work on par with their grade. Homework is provided by the school and has good instructions. Daily homework tends be done in a 30-45 minute session. Our kindergartner is in a Japanese Dual Language (JDL) program and we are tutoring our 1st grader to test-into the JDL program for 2nd grade entrance. For this, we are arranging an online tutor that will start teaching our 1st grader during your time together (about 4pm). At least 1 parent will be home during this time for anything urgent. We would be working nearby in an adjacent room. No transportation of children required.
