My mother will be with the kids on the days in which we are seeking a caregiver. The caregiver would share the responsibilities of the day and assist with tidying up and meal prep as well. We understand an infant and a toddler can be a lot and want our babies to have focused attention and care while not overwhelming grandma! We thought this goal would be best supported with hiring my mother help while my husband and I both work outside of the home on those days.
