After School Caregiver Wanted For 4 Year Old Girl

We are looking for an after school nanny or sitter 3 days a week starting in August 2025. Our 4-year-old will be starting TK and we need afterschool care for when Mom is working. Duties will include pick up from school which is located directly across the street from our home and walking home together; as well as supervising and helping with lunch/snacks, afternoon play/activities and rest time. Our interests and values include child centered creativity and learning in a gentle, safe atmosphere. We try to foster independent but supportive play and structure. We also value health and safety and ask that caregivers be vaccinated and free from substance use. We enjoy open ended imaginative play. Dress up, singing/dancing, coloring, music and reading together. She loves outside play in the backyard or neighborhood park. Our child needs help with meals/snacks and hygiene. She also sometimes needs support with transitions from one activity to the next, especially when adjusting from desired activity to something more centered like quiet time or rest time. We are looking for someone with a gentle calm demeanor well versed in gentle parenting/caregiving but also knows how to hold boundaries with toddlers. Yes, our home is on a bus route and there is ample neighborhood parking. Our family includes our 5-year-old golden retriever Indi. She is full of energy around new people but is trained and gentle with the kids.
