Location: Sherman Oaks Schedule: LIVE IN with 2 days off each week, Wednesday-Sunday Compensation: Approx $110k annual via payroll, plus 2 weeks PTO, holidays, sick days A very kind entertainment family of 4 are seeking a loving, dedicated and helpful Nanny/Light cleaner to care for their home and two children, ages 3 and 5. The position begins ASAP, and the family is looking for their next long term fit! The living accommodations are lovely - the separate guest room has a walk in closet, en suite bathroom, and TV. We are seeking someone who has ideally worked a role similar to this before, managing both child care and general cleaning/tidying, and is 100% comfortable living IN with a family, being helpful wherever needed. The days will typically begin at 7 a.m. and end at 7 p.m. but there will be time off in between. Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. the duties will include laundry, making the beds, cleaning the kitchen, and overall general tidying of the house. The family IS flexible for a Saturday and Sunday off on occasion, but the majority of the schedule will be Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off - there is flexibility for which weekdays off as well. After school, they would like the focus to shift to the children, assisting with after school routines, playtimes, snacks, meals, bedtime, etc. There will be a housekeeper at least once a week to manage deep cleaning needs. Key Responsibilities/Requirements: Cooking/meal prep balanced, healthy meals and snacks (for kids) Assisting with morning routines, preparing the children for school, school drop-offs and pickups, engaging in play, providing snacks, helping with bedtime routines, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. General housekeeping tasks between 8 a.m. and 3 PM, including making beds, laundry, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting. The family appreciates someone who is meticulously organized. Taking care of the family's friendly golden doodle. Driving children required. (must have a valid drivers license, and your own safe, reliable vehicle) Receiving packages, grocery shopping, and handling general errands. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short durations, such as Christmas breaks or weekend getaways. Must have a valid passport.
