Encinitas family will need a reliable mentor/companion for teen boy (nearly 18) for "tailored day" support. Starting by mid-late spring for PT hours (likely 3-5 hrs/week at the beginning but increasing by mid-late summer). Mild autism, very chatty and social seeking, needs support navigating the community/accessing activities. Accompany him to community activities like the YMCA, hikes, errands like grocery store runs, etc. and eventually to a PT job to provide assistance/encouragement as well as help with college and career (homework, resume writing, etc). Would connect you up with the "supported living" agency we are hiring to make sure you would have their support in this tailored day position. Experience with special needs individuals preferred.
