Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Teacher's Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will support the Lead Teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and contributing to the overall mission of our daycare center. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities, including lesson planning and preparation. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, educational activities, and outdoor play. Support children with their personal needs, including feeding, diapering, and toileting. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to the Lead Teacher. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities. Uphold the daycare center's policies and procedures to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for all children. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred. Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must pass a background check and provide references. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Working Hours: Part-time and full-time positions available. Hours may vary between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, occasional weekends if you are up for grabbing more hours. Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
