Our son has been diagnosed with autism (moderate) and is attending kindergarten in special education at a public school. He can play with his trains and cars for hours. He has a great sense of humor and is very affectionate. He has routines and sometimes lacks flexibility for non preferred activities. We are a bilingual family. My husband and I are originally from France. Our 4 children (18, 15, 12, 5) were born in CA and are bilingual. Our 4-year-old speaks mainly English.
