About the job
Hi! The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 2-4:30 and Wednesdays 1-4:30 We cannot offer more hours than what is listed above. But we are educators and sometimes need an extra hour which would be communicated ahead of time. You'd pick up our oldest from school and bring him home and engage with him, help with homework, take him to the park, and play with him till we get home. We don't expect you to clean the house but maybe help him with cleaning up toys (with him). Encourage him and help with keeping his space clean. He has ADHD but we have a system that works. If you have experience as a para educator or aide, this would be great! We need someone reliable who can communicate calmly with our son and will be resilient with his tantrums or outbursts.
