Buddy, Tutor And Playmate For Special Needs Kiddos!

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and fun aide / helper to provide support for our two awesome boys - C and C, ages 13 and 12. Both boys are in wheelchairs and non-verbal, but their receptive language is intact and are very typical in every other sense. They are both smart, funny and love to laugh and play games. They communicate a great deal with adapted sign language and also use devices and a low-tech communication book. The care will primarily be at our home in Corte Madera. Time with the boys might involve playing various games, video games (they both use adaptive controllers), reading, and age-appropriate homework. We are flexible with hours. Often you will be working along side another aide so you'll rarely be taking care of both boys alone. If you'd be a good fit, we'd love to hear from you.
