I am a FTM, trying to plan on returning to work after maternity leave. I will likely return to work in August 2025, but we are trying to be proactive by finding the right person to supplement child-care for our newborn daughter ahead of time. For now, we are only looking for care on Fridays, as we have other arrangements for the remainder of the week. I work as an attorney, so my schedule varies, but typically I come directly home, around 12:30 p.m. , after my court hearings in the morning. There will be days where I am needed in court in the afternoons, and will be home closer to 3:00 p.m. ; however, my schedule will be communicated well in advance! We have three dogs, however, there will be no need for pet care, as they will be crated in a separate, locked part of the house.
