About the job
Seeking compassionate & engaging respite caregiver for my 5-year-old son with moderate autism. He is a loving & playful child who enjoys interactive floor play, puzzles, books, & outdoor play. Caregiver should be able to assist with after-school care and be present during in-home ABA therapy sessions. Parent/grandparent may also be present during hours. 13 hrs/week with set schedule on Mon & Wed (11-5PM), and Thurs (3-5PM). Flexibility to work addtl hrs as needed is preferred. The chosen individual will become an employee of and compensated through a respite agency. Pay is negotiable for the right candidate based on experience. Requirements: - Ability to engage in floor play activities - Flexibility to work additional hrs - Comfortable working alongside parent/grandparent - Experience working with autism preferred, not required
