I'm looking for a caregiver for my 20-year-old daughter who has intellectual disabilities. The job will mostly be about helping her manage her crippling anxiety. She is coachable, polite, mild and very quiet. She gets huge peaks of anxiety and needs help managing those. A successful caregiver will be patient, joyful or at least with a positive outlook (as my daughter absorbs other people's moods). We need someone resourceful and who sticks to the plan. My daughter needs to be coached through breathing exercises, reminding of her schedule, taken to some activities. We need someone who can suggest activities (eg: a walk downtown, a visit to store...) or just chores (eg: let's fold and put away your laundry, the dishwasher etc)
