Personal Aide For Special Needs Teen

We are seeking part- to full-time assistance for our 4'10", 122 lbs 17-year-old son, who is developmentally disabled (nonverbal/cerebral palsy.) Responsibilities include meal preparation and feeding supervision, laundry, light housekeeping related to his care, ensuring his safety, acting as a personal attendant, taking him on daily community outings, and assisting with personal care and hygiene (including diapering.) The ideal candidate lives nearby and has his/her own vehicle. Our primary need is Monday - Saturday, with different schedules depending on vacation v. school year. We are open to multiple caregivers to fulfill this schedule. You must be ok with dogs. Hourly rate commensurate with experience and subject to taxes. CPR certification and background check required.
