About the job
In need of a reliable caregiver for my two children from approx. 3-5 p.m. Mon through Fri. My oldest needs to be picked up from his bus stop at 3:30, requiring one to be there about 10 mins early at 3:20 due to bus schedule fluctuation. Following his pickup at the bus stop, one would drive to the daycare center to pick up my youngest at about 4 p.m. After that, both would be brought him and one would play with them, help my kindergartner with homework, supervise a snack, help unload the dishwasher, etc. IMPORTANT: My 5 yo is Type 1 Diabetic and this position will require management of blood sugar/insulin (electronic delivery). Training will be given. When Mom is out of town traveling for work, the caregiver would need to stay until 5:30 instead of 5 p.m. This would be the case about 2-3 weekdays per month, on average.
