She's bright almost 3-year-old boy with level 3 ASD, he has a sensory processing disorder that makes him an extreme sensory seeker. This entails loud noises, banging jumping, lots of stimming, hand flapping, screaming. He is a pretty decent listener once you learn how to speak his language. Hes a Gestalt language processor, meaning he speaks in statements and song. He can get aggressive when hes overwhelmed and tends to throw and hit and kick when upset. Sometimes the tantrum are random, biggest trigger is little sister. He likes to push her down or hit her. So we keep and eye on them both together when theyre in an open space. Overall he is a very sweet loving boy but gets overstimulated with the world. Looking for an afternoon caregiver specialized in ASD.
