Lonely Special Needs Teen In Need Of A Friend.

My son is 16, autistic and developmentally delayed. He has no friends and is very lonely. I'm looking for someone who would be able to come over a couple hours a week or every couple of weeks to hang out with him. He is very echolalic which means he just repeats what you say. He has a lot of speech issues and just tends to babble on and on about cartoons. He can engage somewhat, answer questions, he can read and write. I would say mentally he's around 6 years old. He would love someone to just hang out with him, sit and listen to him babble and especially someone to watch him as he re-enacts Thomas the train episodes. My baby is so lonely. It's just the two of us and he asks me for friends all the time. He has a really hard time engaging with people and people tend to ignore him. I really want to find someone who will pay attention to him, engage with him.
