My child does not need any special care. Sometimes he like to roam, play with his toys, sometimes he like le to watch tv. But he likes to be able to see you at all times. Normal day is wake up get dressed, morning conversation, eat breakfast, watch an educational show, may play with toys but usually a nap. Wake up have lunch, read a book, sing songs, work on developmental skills, nap (maybe), wake up have a snack playtime, etc we are normally home by 3:30-4
