In-Home Caregiver for a 5-Year-Old Boy with Autism Location: Hoover, AL Duration: 1 Month (Monday-Friday, Workday Hours) Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to support our 5-year-old who is high functioning on the autism spectrum. Is verbal, sweet, and caring, with a particular love for dinosaurs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and will bring creativity and enthusiasm to engage him throughout the day. Responsibilities: Daily Care, Activity Planning, and Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging the child's communication, social skills, and emotional development. Follow and maintain the child's daily routine. Qualifications: Experience and knowledge working with children on the autism spectrum. Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, patient demeanor. Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the child's needs and preferences. Requirements: Background check and references required. Reliable transportation to and from the home in Hoover, AL. Must be available Monday through Friday during workday hours for the next month.
