About the job
We have two boys who love watching movies and also playing outside. Our youngest, 9 years old, has special needs and developmental delays - he loves to play with his big brother and eat pizza! Our oldest, 12, is a great big brother, soccer fan, and huge helper at home. The youngest needs help with toileting/diaper changes. The oldest is self sufficient and helpful. We are looking for someone with patience, who is comfortable with special needs including limited verbal communication and occasional seizures. We hope to find someone who is a reliable communicator, and likes to have fun. You need your own transportation - and it would be great if you are willing to take the kids on some occasional adventures - like the park, movies, etc. We also have 2 dogs - a Lab and German Shepard. Dogs can stay in their kennels for most of the day.
