Preschool Teacher

We are searching for a Lead Teacher to join our preschool program! The ideal candidate will have a passion for early education, excellent classroom management skills, will build relationships and communicate effectively with parents, will collaborate well with other teachers, and will be willing to grow as an educator within our program. We are a professional and family-centered school with a great team of dedicated teachers. As a small school, we expect our teachers to work closely together in a way that fosters relationships and works towards our shared goals of providing the children in our care with a beautiful, nurturing environment. We offer teacher support, lower ratios, health benefits, PTO, paid closures such as holidays with an additional 2 full paid weeks off each year, and more! -We are looking mainly for a full-time position but will consider part-time as well. -Full-time schedule: 8-hour shift with 1-hour lunch, 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Monday to Friday -Pay: $18/hour+ DOE competitive salary, depending on experience and educational background Qualifications required for this position are: -Minimum qualification: High School diploma or GED, CDA, AA, or BA in early childhood education or related field encouraged but not required. -Experience working in an early childhood setting. -CPR/First Aid Certified (within 90 days of hire) -Ability to complete fingerprinting and background checks. -Enjoys implementing natural and cultural resources as part of daily activities and student curriculum. -Willing to complete a minimum of 24 hours of professional development annually. -We are an equal-opportunity employer.
