About the job
I am an active and engaging 26-year-old with Cerebral Palsy. I need assistance to do daily tasks in my life, such as feeding, preparing meals, showering, assistance with clothing in the bathroom, dressing, etc. I am a recent College graduate, and plan to enroll in a Bachelor's program in the near future. This Personal Assistant role would include helping me with homework, typing, driving me places, taking me to school, running errands, visiting friends, or going to appointments (such as physical, occupational and speech therapy), cleaning and organizing my home, walking/taking care of my dogs and helping me with things I am unable to do on my own. I work best with individuals that have a cheerful disposition and positive outlook on life. Prior experience as a disability aide is not required.
