About the job
Hello, my husband and I are seeking someone friendly, knowledgeable and energetic to help care for our flower beds and shrubs (roses, azaleas, laurels, etc.). This job is probably 10-20 hours a week and would include weeding, planting, pruning and fertilizer & organic insecticide application. Days and times are flexible. The ability to identify most of our plants is crucial. You should be able to lift at least 40 pounds to move pots and move potting soil, and lift and climb a ladder to trim ivy. We have the ladders, you may bring your own weeding and trimming tools. Experience edging and building beds would be welcome. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to help with some bed design if s/he would like. I'm happy to answer any questions! Thank you, Andrea.
