About the job
We seek a compassionate part-time caregiver, a 45-year-old recovering from brain tumor surgery and living with low vision. She is on leave as a professor. While she has an in-home caregiver, she needs additional part-time support in April, 4 hours a day, 3 days a week, with occasional weekend availability. She needs assistance with technology (clearing emails, using her phone and computer), running errands, shopping, transportation to medical and recreational appointments, and support with light daily routines. Her recovery is impacted by low vision, energy fluctuations, and cognitive and emotional changes due to pituitary and hypothalamus damage. Ideal candidate is calm, communicative, organized, and reliable transportation. Your presence will play a meaningful role in her path to greater independence.
