In-home Support For 73 Y/o Woman

About the job

My mom is 73 and has chronic Lyme Disease, which makes her exhausted and reduces her short-term memory. She is also mostly blind in one eye and doesn't leave her apartment on her own anymore. She's very isolated and depressed, so she needs an empathetic and patient helper. I'm hoping to find someone who can stop by a few times a week to do some light cleaning (like a load of laundry), to prepare her a diabetes-friendly snack, and to provide companionship. She's kind & funny and I think she'll respond well to the right person! The schedule is flexible, but she has insomnia and often wakes up around noon, so it would have to be afternoons only.
