My daughter lives approximately 4 minutes from my home in a gorgeous single family home and safe neighborhood. She also watches children. We care for the children as a team. I watch the infants and younger children while she tend to the older children and coordinates field trips, children activities and movie nights, etc. When we watch children we focus on their development and their social behaviors with the other children. Due to our open flexibility, we are available for day care, night care and date nights. About me, Princess: I have worked as an LPN at INOVA Fairfax hospital and the pediatrics centers for many years. I have retired early to help with my grandchildren and enjoy spending time with my family. I have carried my passion for childcare into my every day life, and I wouldn't change a thing. I love it. Sheena, my daughter: 30 Years old. Works solely from home and is an Art Instructor. She is doing work towards her Master's Degree and spend time raising my grandson and her step children. The kids love her, she is festive and fun. She also provides transportation, school pick ups and drop offs. We have been on Care.com for sometime with great reviews, but recently switched our account to a home based family profile. We do hours rates as well as flat weekly rates. We are happy to provide current and past references. We are not a licensed child care facility. Care.com has placed us in this category because we watch children from our home and not theirs.
