Hello families!
I’m Hannah, I’m originally from Ohio and am now based in Paris. I'm only available in the evenings and on the weekend.
I have been working with children consistently for the past 10 years in both a professional and residential capacity. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Educational Studies and have spent many hours in both classrooms, daycares, and summer camps. I have experience with ages ranging from newborns to teenagers.
Currently, I work in a bilingual nursery in Paris with children from newborn to 2 years old. Besides the foundational care involved with children of this age (diapering, feeding, cuddles, changing) my main role is to engage the kids in developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate them and expose them to the English language. We plan fine motor activities such as sticker collages and finger painting and do lots of singing and dancing.
Before this position, I worked five years as a nanny for three french children now aged 3, 5, and 7. I was their main caregiver in the evenings, as well as on holidays abroad. This role involved preparing meals, accompanying the kids to their activities and medical appointments, and teaching them English.
