I'm a nurse back home and I have a heart in caring elderly people. My first experience here in Canada in 2008 were two alzheimercouples living in their house by themselves, the only son just come once in a while, most of the time, I do decision making esp. In cases of emergency, when the son is out of town, then notify him. the husband with Parkinson too. the men, my duties are be sure to look after their safety, assisting in transferring fr wheelchair to bed. The wife was still ambulatory, both need assistance in bathing, dressing and grooming, assist in giving medo, meal preparation and accompany to doctors appointment.
