Fun & Flips Class is a beginner level gymnastics class for athletes who love to flip!
Athletes will work on form, strength, flexibility, and be introduced to basic skills and terminology. Fun & Flips will give athlete’s the strong foundation needed to obtain more difficult skills in a fun and engaging way.
Athletes will be working on:
Building strength & flexibility
Gymnastics body positions and correct form
Tumbl Trak - Jumps, Body Control, Proper landing positions, Beginner tumbling
Vault - Running and jumping on the springboard, body positions
Floor - Intro to forward rolls, backward rolls, handstand starters, and cartwheel starters
Bars - Grip strength, Chin holds, L-holds, Front Supports & more!
Beam - Walks, Body positions, Into to turns, handstands, rolls, and cartwheels on beam
Ropes & Rings - Swings, Holds
& More!
Drop Off / Pick Up Rules:
Parents must wear a mask at all times
Please be ready and waiting with your child for your coach in the courtyard (weather permitting)
Parents are welcome to wait in the courtyard during your child’s class
COVID-19 Policy Updates
Athletes must wear a mask while not engaged in vigorous exercise
Due to smaller class sizes, drop-ins will not be offered this session
Outdoor Drop-off & Pick-up
Athletes will be brought outside courtyard at the end of class (weather permitting)
Me & You Classes: Only 1 Parent/Caregiver allowed in the facility during class
Parent/Caregivers must wear a mask at all times
Temperature checks will be given before your child enters the building
If an athlete has a temperature above 100.4 degrees or appears visibly sick we will not permit them into the building
Please bring your own water bottle, per CDC guidelines water cups will not supplied
Cash payments MUST be exact change in an envelope labelled with your child’s first and last name
Make Up Policy & Shutdown Updates
Due to smaller class sizes, only 1 make up class will be offered per session based on availability
Email registration@flipoutproductions.com to schedule your make up class
In an effort to keep classes small, make up classes are first come, first serve
Make up classes are non transferable, and non-refundable
Missed classes due to a COVID-19 shutdown are non-transferable, and non-refundable
No credits will be given due to a COVID-19 shutdown
In the event of a COVID-19 shutdown, online Zoom classes will be offered in lieu of in person classes
Dresscode:
Leotard or form fitting shorts/pants and a tucked in top
Long hair must be pulled back before class
Water bottle labelled with athlete’s name
Mask
Shoes and socks must be removed before class begins
Please no jewelry, skirts, dresses, or tights
