About

Fall Session 2 Semester (October-December)

This class is for high school and college art students. Join us for classical instruction, covering a variety of techniques and skill building, with a degreed art instructor. Students will choose their mediums and subjects for their pieces with guidance from the instructor.

Portfolio development will include completed works of art as well as research regarding various schools and programs students are interested in. The main focus of this class is to create a portfolio to assist with placement in the art field, work towards scholarships, and program acceptance.

Students will also be exposed to art competitions including how to enter, how to present their artwork for competition, and what types of competitions are available.

This course ongoing so you can join at anytime and start building those drawing and painting skills.

Spaces are limited, so sign up today!

Materials are not provided for this class. A recommended supply list can be requested at the first class. Students choose their own medium including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, or other. For each project please bring a reference photograph of the subject of choice. Please do not use a picture of another artist's work unless it is an additional reference of a specific art movement being studied.
