Fall Session 2 Semester (October-December)

This class provides an opportunity to try different mediums and build on basic art techniques. All supplies provided as students explore techniques, learn basics of color theory, drawing, painting, composition and other fundamentals in art.

Students are introduced to the elements and principles of design to create full, functional, and stylish compositions. This class will explore the different mediums used in drawing such as charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pastel along with painting in oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolor.

This is a beginning class that allows students to test a variety of materials in order to find which medium to continue learning about and then join one of our more in depth classes on that medium.
