Ronit Rozen
Instructor
The Artsy Backyard was created in 2018 by Ronit Rozen as a way to blend two of her passions, teaching and art. Ronit holds a Masters in Education and was a school teacher for over 25 years, working with elementary and middle school-aged children. It wasn't until Ronit took a painting class for fun, where she realized that she was skilled in the art and also deeply enjoyed it. This led to going back to school to study Graphic Design at Otis College of Art and Design. Ronit opened The Artsy Backyard to provide a space for creativity and expression within her community. Ronit wanted to make her studio as accessible to her community as possible, so opening up her studio in the central Los Angeles, CA area was a perfect fit.
