Matt Dever
Instructor
Head PGA Professional Having served the members at Phoenixville Country Club as PGA Professional, Matt graduated from Drexel University and has been a Class A PGA Member for 15 years. Matt has taught golf for over 20 years having learned the craft under the tutelage of my father, Peter Dever, a Lifetime Member of the PGA. Matt holds a Level 1 Certification in The Plane Truth of Golf teaching philosophy, developed by Jim Hardy and generously shares his knowledge with all students. His experiences in the golf industry range from expert club fitting (PING Club Fitter Since 1998) to working as sales manager for a men’s apparel line. Matt's commitment to growing the game is evident in the 250+ of junior golfers he has influenced through my Junior Golf Camp as well as volunteering with the Pottsgrove High School Golf Team and Blessed Theresa of Calcutta’s Intramural Golf program.

Our Junior Golf Camps are four-day, instructional programs designed to introduce Juniors to the game of golf, have fun and meet other Junior Golfers. All aspects of the game of golf will be covered, including course management; course conduct; rules & etiquette; short game; full swing; and more!! These Junior Golf Camps are the perfect introduction for the youngster who has an interest in learning the game of golf. As Juniors become more serious about the game, we offer Private Golf Instruction with Junior Discount packages.
